whom Mr Joyce appeared, pleaded no* guilty to a charge of stealing from the stable of Alexander Rhind, a bag of oaten chaff of the value of 3s 3d. After a number of wit« nesses had given evidence, Mr Joyce sub* mitted that there was no case for a conviction,'and the Bench discharged the accused. Wednesday, June 8. (Before R. S. Webb and W.
