ASHBURTON SWIMMING CLUB.
The Ashburton Amateur Swimming Club's sixth annual carnival took place yesterday afternoon. The weather was delightfully fine, and there was a fairly good attendance. Another interesting event was an exhibition of life-saving drill by members of the Christchurch Clubs. At the close of the programme the Hon. W. J.
