OTHER MATCHES.
On Saturday a match was played at Kaiapoi between Eyreton and Kaiapoi Seconds. Tlie scores were—Eyreton 62 (Giles 12, McGregor and Cheney each 7); Kaiapoi 55 (Horsfall 17, Lynskey b). On Saturday afternoon the Lyttelton team won their eighth successive match, when they beat the Spreydon team, in a one innjpgs match, by 102 runs to 75. For the winners Lewin (37) and Foster (11) were the principal scorers, while Potter (22) aud Bell (12) were the highest scorers for Spreydon. The return match between the Auctioneers and Dealers will take place on the U.C.C. ground, at Hagley Park, on Tuesday, the 22nd inst, commencing at 1 p.m. sharp. Great interest is being token, as the first match was very close and exciting. The teams will be picked from the following, viz :—Auctioneers— Messrs A. Boyle, H. Matson, A. Wachsman, W. C: Roberts; M. W. Morton, Wilson, R. Kitto, S. Cadle, Geo. Fisher, C. G. Matson, A. Elite,, A. Blunden, A. E. Cooke and H. Van Asch. Dealers—Messrs R. B. Clarkson, C. Cresswell, Geo. Mason, J. Ferguson. J. C. Clarkeon, A. Bennetts, W. (Jlarkeon, J. Hunt, J. Brake, A. Sefton, Geo. Mcßean, E. Clarkson, T. Rowe, L. C. Gardiner and Colin Stewart.
