THE QUEENSLAND TOUR.
Final arrangements have been made for a match between the Queensland cricket team and an eighteen representing Ashburton and South Canterbury. The match is to be played at Ashburton on January 12th and 13th. The ground, notwithstanding the dry weather, is in nice order, and every care will be taken to provide a good wicket. The Committee met on Friday night, when a Selection Committee was appointed, and all arrangements made with regard to entertaining the Queenslanders, and to ensure their visit to Ashburton being made as pleasant as possible. -•■'./
