FRENCH VISITING TOILETTE.
Skirt of shot pink and green alpaca si npe<S j with bands of fanoy gnlon in a darker shade. ' Tho skirt is only 4iyds round and mounted with gathers all round, the front and side? being only slightly gored. It is lined with silk and interlined at the edge with fib« chamois. The bodice is a Louis XVI. con! in green broobe" silk, the seams giving the "V fulness required for the basque, which sets out in stiffened godet pleats. The full chemisette is of white tulle with cravat bow to match. The collar is high and rolled ove» at the back. The stiffly lined revers are ol the broche.
