Tho centn panel of the front in this cose is in a diflcron material, with just a corselet-like bund o , the gown material seamed to the Beoonj ' ' piece of the right front under the buttoni I and buttoning across the silk front. , Thii second piece of tho front, rising to the shoulder, includes the side-piece of the front. There is only one side-piece,, there" fore, rather wide, with the skirt part taking up a full breadth of 24-inoh silk. The.two backs seam down the centre ; they have the skirb part the full width of the material, eked out by two breaths inserted below the waist, in the pleat. Tho gown is of black duchesse satin, with front of black and white striped silk. Jetted cojlar f loid on white satin. Short puff sleeves. — i
