TO TUB EDITOR OT THK PRESS. Sip.,—ln this time of plague and fever would it nob bo well that someone looked into our butchers' carcase carts, where the meat has got to go to the shop in the morning ? I seen some truly filthy ones in Christchurch ; in fact I have seeu cleaner pig carts. It is true Jthe round cart is bright, but a few buckote of hot water and a scrape would do tho others good.—Yours, &c, A Consumer.
