WEIGHT AND MEASURE.

TO THE EDITOR Off THB PRKSS. Sib, —The baker often gots caught giving short weight. Now, why is not the grocer looked at ? Many thing 3 are sold much short in weight aud measure. There is no iospector for him. He can sell in pound tine or half-pouud packets as much short as he likes, and no check on him. Some of these articles r>re dear, and to get two or three ouucoa short is no joke. Now, if the Inspector can look into this matter I hope he will, and thereby confer a little benefit on the public who help to pay him. Thanking you for your space.—Yours, &c, Old Combiner.
