Mrs G. Hutchison, of Wellington, with her son and daughter, were passengers south by the Thrawera, en route for England. Mr Hutchison leaves Wellington for Sydney on Saturday, joining his wife in Melbourne. Mr A. G. Holmea, Bmgor, was iv town yesterday, »3 were Mr W. Clinton, Darfield ; Mr C. T. Newton, Stoke Grange; Mr Duncan Cameron, Springfield ; Mr Jno. Mcßoath, Pleasant Point ; Mr Robert Latter, Barry's Bay; Mr H. D. Buchanan, KiDloch; and Mr C. Dampier-Crossley, Brockenhurat. Captain Colville was a passenger for Dunedin by tho Tarawera yeaterday. Mr J. W. Joynt, M.A., Principal of Nelson College, arrived yesterday by the Tarawera from Sydney, en route from Europe, after a year's leave of absence. Mrs T. M. Wilford and Mrs McLean, Wellington, are staying hero. Mr Llennah. Dunedin, is in town. MrE. G. Wright, Windermere, is in town. Mr C. A. C. Hardy, Rakaia, went home yesterday.
