Wednesday, January 15. (Before R. Beetham, Esq., S.M.) Civil Cases.—A. Madden v N. P. Petersen, claim £3 14a 2d, judgment summons. Mr Nalder for plaintiff. Defendant did not appear, aud au order was made for the amount to be paid forthwith, in default a fortnight's imprisonment. H. N. Nalder v J. S. Simpson, claim £1 33 6d. Judgment by default for the amount claimed aud costs. H. N. Nalderv P. Hugland, claim £12. Mr Stringer for plaintiff, Mr Donnelly tor defendant. This had been heard previously, but, defendant not having been supplied with a detailed bill of costs, plaintiff was nonsuited. After hearing evidence and counsel on both sides, his Worship gave judgment for plaintiff for the amount claimed and costs. J. \V. Smith and Co. v Miry Kiely, claim £4 5s lOd ; Mr Nalder for plaintiff. Judgment for the amonat. claimed and costs. J. Grubb v R. Moore and ft. Evans, claim £3 4s 6i ; Mr Nalder for plaintiff. Defendants paid the amount into Court, but had not given notice of doing so to plaintiff or his solicitor. Mr Nalder now asked for his solicitor's fee and two witnesses' expenses, which wero allowed.
