Hercule3 2s 6d to 23 9d, Keep-it-Dark 353 to 363, Golden Lead 4d to 6d, Ingle wood lOd to Is, Lyell Creek Is 6d to Is 9d, Lord Edward 23 to 2s 3d, No. 2 South Dark 2s 6d to 2a 9d, Progress 17s 6d to 18s 6d, Success 7d to 9d, Alpine 63 to 6s 6d, Wealth 10* to Hβ, Welcome Is 6d to Is 94. The following are the returns—Keep-it-Dark 87nz of amalgam from 130 tons, Buller Dredge 38oz of gold for 168 hours, Progress 920z of amalgam from 75 tons, Globe 1430z of amalgam from 130 tons, Wealth 1360<s of amalgam from 170 tone. (press association telegram.) AUCKLAND, November 23. During the four weeks ending 16th instant 3060 tons of ore were treated from the Waihi mine for £10.020 worth of bullion, in addition to which £99 worth of bullion was extracted from the tailings, making a total of £10,119. One hundred and twenty tons less ore were treated than during the preceding period. The high average of £3 5s 6d per ton was maintained. From the 2nd of January last 29,830 tons of ore were treated from the Waihi mine for £102,580 leaving over a month to spare to the end of 1895, the grand total got from the mine since 18S0 now being £337,051. The Kapai Vermont return waa an improvement on the previous one ; 311 tons of stone yielded 5790z of gold, of the value of £1400. Last month they treated 44 tons less for the same amount.
