ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
(FRIfSS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAMS.} AUCKLAND, February 6. Win. Donaldson, a labourer employed by the City Council, died suddenly of heart disease. A negro, name unknown, was found dead in a tank full of water at an empty house in Eiieu terrace. He had been dead about eight days. Later. The body of the man found in the tank has been identified as that of Charles Inman, of Arch Hill. He had been attending the Rev. Thos. Cook's evangelistic services, and was much disturbed in his mind. He left his bod on the night of the 31st ult. or the morning of the Ist inst., and was mie_iug when, his wife awoke. He had dressed himself in old clothes and old boots, leaving his watch and spectacles on the table. There was no trace of him till he was found in the tank. He was a native of Scotland. NEW PLYMOUTH, February 6. The body of Thomas Wood, boot and shoemaker, was found on tbe railway line at a level crossing in Vivian street. It was very foggy lost night, and it is supposed that he must have Mien over and been stunned, and the express train run over him, severing his head from his bod v. MA3TERTON, February 6. Mr John B. Osborne, for several years a storekeeper at Whakatane, died in a fit on Castle Point beach this afternoon. The deceased was well known and mucb respscted all over the district.
