WANG AN OT, February 6.
Ths annual Ram Fair, held by ..f-issra Freeman R. Jackson and Co., began to-day. There was a large attendance, but it was evident at the first that tho prices would be very l*»w. Out of 792 ram 3 offered, about 250 were sold, mostly Lincolns, Mr Fred Suttou topping the market, averaging £4 16s lid. Tho highest price obtained was 13_gs. Mr W. "Wilson's averaged £'3 14» 6.1. with the highest 6£gs. Mrs Watt, Lilliebank, averaged £2 14s lOd, Mr T. Bryce £2 4s 3d. Several averaged £2 2s, but soma only £1 Is. The sale will be continued to-morrow.
