STOCK SALE, WAIKARI.
On Friday a. stock sale was held at Waikari Yards, at which, for the New Zealand Land Association. Mb F. N. RoßiNSoy sold—Merino ewes 3a to 4s 6d, do aged la to 3s 6d, fat crossbred wethers 12s 9d, croisbred lambs 5s to 7« 6d. twotooth crogabreds 9s to lie, crossbred eves to 7s, fat crnssbreds 12a, 9d, dairy cows to £7, fat cows £6 10s, yearlings £2 2a. For Mr E. G. Staveley and National Mortgage and Agency Company, Limited, Mr Calcutt aold crossbred lambs 5s 6d to 7s 6d, two-tooth crossbreds 10s 10d. Messrs Pros and Co. sold horses from £5 to £14, cow* £4 to £7, and drays £4 to £12. Mb F. C' Tababv Mid two-tooth wethen ft.
four and six-tooth ewes 7a lOd, and cows from £6 to £7. The entry of sheep was between 3000 and 4000.
