The monthly meeting was held on Monday evening last. Present—-Messrs J. J. Herrick Ifchairman), Leathern, Peryman, and Heinzman. Correspond nee—From Messrs Wood and Laurie, giving quotations for wood and coal; from Education Board re resignation of pupil teacher, and mfonning the Committee that the present average does not entitle the school to another; the Cricket Club was granted use of the school for a concert; from F. Barber re school books and requisites. The master's report was read, showing the average for the month to be 100.4, roll number 126, and informing the Committee that the school was to be examined on or about the 14th of September. The Chairman was empowered to have the niacrocarpa fence trimmed and the gate impaired. After passing accounts, amounting to £4 7s 7d, the meeting adjourned.
