WINCHESTER ATHLETIC SPORTS.
The annual sports under the auspices of the Winchester Athletic Club took place in tbe Winchester Domain on Tuesday last. The weather was fine, and there was a good attendance. The sports were alio good. The various events filled up well, ahd the finishes in moat cases • were close and exciting. Tbe following are tbe results:—-100 yards—-W. Moore, 7yds, 1; time, 10_sec. .High jump—fl. Bryan (3inj sft 4ft, 1. 200 yards, boys under fifteen—■ H.Bryan, 7yds, 1: time, «?7 l-s_u sec Hop, step, and jump—J. McAuliffe (4in), 39ft om, 1;H. Bryan, scratch, 39ft 7ln, 2. Bryan afterwards made an exhibition jump of 40ft. 440 yards handicap—G, South, 15yds, 1; R. Ortoo, 4yds, 2; B.J. La very, 4yds, 3; time, 57 4-6tb sec. 880 yards— R. Logan, 18yds, 1; W. Stewart, Byds, 2; B. Evans, Byds, 3; time, 2m in 14sec. 200 yards hurdles, over 10 hurdles—A. J. Shallard, scr, 1; time, 3G__ea One mile walk, 0. Blissett, 35yds, 1; J.
