TIMABU, September 16.
At Judge Ward's farewell at the District Court to-day, Mr White said that he wished on behalf of the members of the Bar, as this was perhaps the last occasion on which his Honor would preside in this Court, to place on record the high eetimatkn in which they held him. The Bar owed very much to the great ability and courtesy which had marked his Honor's occupation of the Bench. In parting with his Honor, they regretted that the ties which had existed for the last fifteen yean or so should be broken. He was glad that hie Honor had been promoted to a poet to which his, long services had, in their opinion, so justly entitled him.
