Indeed al*. New Zealanders should be interested in pasture production, as the country depends on the land and what .it produces.

Costing only half a crown this small paper bound booklet i~ crammed full of advice on growing different grasses and pasture management. All the main'. New* Zealand grasses receive attention and a spe r cial section is devoted to clovers and allied plants.

Pasture production in New Zealand is very fully covered, the past, the work going on at the present,, an the possibilities for the future. All, articles are -well illustrated with clear photographs or sketches and even to the person ignorant of pasture management it is easily understandable.

The book is another publication by the Department of Agriculture, who are responsible for the monthly “Journal of Agriculture.” This is of the same high standard.
