Ruatoki-Rotorua To Play West Coast

Although the date has not yet been finalised a league team from the West Coast is to play RuatokiRotorua combined, it was stated by the chairman, Mr T. Tawera, at a meeting of the Bay of Plenty Rugby League Union at Ruatoki on Saturday night. The combined team is to meet at Rotorua four days before the game for training and coaching. The West Coast is recognised as one of the strongest league centres in New Zealand and this game, it is expected, will provide some guide to the standard of play in Rotorua and Ruatoki.
