WAIMANA COW'S PERFORMANCE

GH AM PI ON TWO-YEAR-OLD

Mr T. W. Wardlaw of Waimana, the well known 'Greenmeadows' stud breeder, is proud of a further accomplishment of a senior two year old (Greenmeadows Melba) who last year topped the record for New Zealand with 7651bs of fat. The cow finished testing on September 15, calved next day and is now under test as a 3 year old producing over 50113 fat per clay. Greenmeadows Melba has three gold medals to her credit, Ist in the 305 day class, Ist in the 3(55 day class and a special for producing over 7501bs fat.

In addition to the above Mr Wardlaw is proud of the fact that he possesses 10 two year old heifers which under the Government Official Herd Test produced 4701bs fat in 305 days.
