"NEITHER A MOTHER OR FATHER'"

Sir. —We must congratulate our councillors on their wise decision in turning down the above scheme. Why give away the Band that is used for the public.. We know We have little enough for ovir present needs and what will it be in a few years time? Might I suggest that, those who so kindly gave their donations for the children's good will' allow the money to be used to buy up a little more land which can be used now and will be badly needed later on. Yours etc., ELBOWROOM.
