GERMAN ASSETS IN AUSTRIA ' London, April 5. Today's meeting in London of the Foreign Ministers' deputies dealing with the Austrian treatv, closed on a note of cautious optimism with concessions by both Russia and the Western powers, bringing agreement nesrer on former German assets in Austria. , Three clauses covering oil production and exploration, were broadly agreed to, and will be submitted for apnrovl at tomorrow's meeting. The Russians reduced their claim to Danube shipping and the three Western powers said they were willing to go beyond the figure which they had, hitherto, opposed to the Russian claim for other former German assets in Austria.
