ADMITTED TO HOSPITAL ON ARRIVAL HOME Returning to Papatoetoe after a week spent in 'Tauranga, a young Maori woman was admitted to hospital on Thursday, the day of her arrival home, and was later stated to be a positive case of poliomyelitis. The woman left Tauranga by early-morning" service car, advice being received in the district that she was admitted to the Auckland hospital soon after her arrival.

During the week's stay in Tauranga, tiie woman visited Hamilton for a day. Her stay in the district was spent at the Kaimais, and the people with whom she spent the holiday have been quarantined for the usual period.
