FURTHER PARALYSIS CASES
TWO PATIENTS IN WAIKATO Position Throughout Dominion Tauranga Still Free Of Epidemic One further positive case of infantile paralysis from the Central Auckland health district and two positive cases from the South Auckland health district were reported yesterday. These cases brought the Dominion total since November up to 154. Tauranga is still free of the .epidemic. _ There were no admissions of either suspect or positive cases to the Auckland Hospital yesterday. The addition to the Auckland total arises from the diagnosis of a suspect case already in hospital as positive. The patient is a woman aged 26, who was admitted on Thursday
from Papatoetoe. There were 54 positive cases and two suspects in the hospital last night. The two South Auckland cases admitted to the Waikato Hospital were a man aged 29 from Cambridge and a girl aged 15 from Newstead. There were 13 positive cases and two suspects in the hospital yesterday. One of the suspect cases admitted to the hospital on Thursday, a boy aged six from Taupiri, has proved to be negative. The number of positive cases in infantile paralysis reported since the outbreak began has now reached 154. The totals to date for the various health districts are as follows: Auckland 9.5 North Auckland ..
