BRITISH TRACTORS FOR U.S.A.

PARTICULARLY SUITABLE TYPE RECORD ORDER PLACED FOR GOODS London, Jan. 12.

The largest single order placed for British goods since Britain’s export drive began, has been received from the United States.

The first part of the order, for tractors and farm machinery, worth £25,000, is being exported this week, and the remainder will be exported later.

■An agricultural correspondent says that this particular Britishmade tractor is ideally suited for farming overseas, and he believes that the tractors also are required in Western Europe.
