NURSES’ HOME AT WHANGAREI

shortage of materials CAUSES DELAY

(P.A.) Whangarei, Jan. 12. It is not expected that the new nurses’ home at the Whangarei Hospital will be completed for another three years owing to difficulty in securing materials.

This information was contained in a report to a meeting of the hospital board today. The building, which is to provide accommodation for 5G nurses, has already been over a year in construction.
