QUEST FOR “MISS NEW ZEALAND”
FINAL SELECTION IN . NOVEMBER (P.A.) Wellington, Sept. 27. The name of “Miss New Zealand” will be announced at a special gathering in the Wellington Town Hall on November 5, according to an announcement by Mr K. W. Kilpatrick, executive director of the Miss New Zealand quest. District finalists, he said, would be named as soon as the judges had found them, and all finalists would go to Wellington early in November for final selection. To date there are 26 entrants, 14 from the South Island and 12 from the North Island.
