Footballers from Auckland. The, Grammar Old Boys football team arrived from. Auckland by specian ’bus at 11.30 last night and are staying at the Star Hotel. They Will play the Tauranga Representatives this afternoon and will leave on their return to-morrow afternoon.
Heavy Showers. Heavy showers fell through the night, the rainfall for twenty-four hours ended 9 a.m. to-day, as registered by The Camp gauge, being eight points.
Late Mr. A. Tudhopc. Before the Tauranga Electric Power Board proceeded to the consideration of business at yesterday’s meeting, the Chairman, .Mr. Allen Smith, referred to the death of Mr. A. Tudhope and moved: That the Board record its sympathy with Mrs. Tudhope and family in their bereavement. The motion was passed in silence, all, present standing.
