LEAGUE OF MOTHERS

i ♦ TAURIKO BRAS'CH The Tauriko Branch of the League of Mothers held their first meeting of the year at Mrs Middleton’s residence on Wednesday last. Apologies and correspondence were read. Mrs C. Wade resigned from the position as treasurer and Mrs Walton, senior, was elected to the position in her place. The “thought of the month” was given by Mrs Dent, and vocal items were given by Mrs Weir and Mrs Dent and were very much appreciated. Members read hints, thoughts and interesting articles on “Life” and on “Peace.” The bring and buy stall was quite a success. The hostesses w r ere Mrs McLean and Mrs C. Wade, and the singing of the League Hymn brought the meeting to a close.
