Mr C. H. Burnett, M.P., who has been in Wanganui for a few days, is expected to reach Tauranga to-day.

Mr Crawford, of Ireland, who is on a visit to New’ Zealand, is a guest at the Commercial Hotel.

Mr C. Davcney, of Morriusville, is on a visit to Tauranga and intends making a trip to the deep-sea fishing grounds off Mayor Island.

Mrs Burt, of Wellington, is spending a holiday of six weeks in Taurauga and is a guest at the Star Hotel.

Mr H. M. Warner, Assessor for the Underwriters’ Association, is on a visit to this district and is slaying at the Masonic Hotel.

Guests at the Star Hotel include Mr and Mrs Barnahy, Mr and Mrs Hunter, Mrs Young, Miss Collins, Messrs Blake (Wellington), Moore (Hamilton), Adams, Massey, Bullen, and L. Moore.

Visitors at the Tauranga Hotel are Mr and Mrs Blomfield, Mr and Mrs Cooper, Mrs Birchnall, Miss Outram, Messrs Hunt and Aldred.

Messrs Robinson,' Allen, Moses, Thompson, and Scannell are staying at the Masonic Hotel.

Miss Sadie Lewis, of Waliaroa, is spending a holiday at Mount Maunganui.

Guests at the Commercial Hotel include Mr and Mrs Graham, and Master Graham (Gisborne), F. N. Bass, Cox, Smith and Newman (2) (Auckland) Tail and Sergeant (Hawera), Mr aud Mrs Edmonds, Master Edmonds and Mr Norton (Palmerston North), Mr and Mrs Ashley (Wellington), Mr and Mrs Thomas (Te Awamutu), Mr Glasgow aud Miss Glasgow' (Rangiora).

Mr and Mrs Leslie Gorton, of Feilding, are on a visit to Tauranga and are at the Commercial Hotel.

New’ arrivals at Hotel Oceanside include Mr and Mrs J. Kirk, Huntly; Mr and Mrs G. H. McCullough and Misses Jean and Jessie McCullough, Takanini; Mr and Mrs Cavaye, Mrs Wallen, Miss Bell, Mr E. G. Hill, Mr and Mrs A. YVallace, Auckland; Miss Munro, Cevedon.

Mr D. E. Rout, Managing Director Electrolux, Australasia, Ltd., of Melbourne and Wellington, who with Mrs Rout and family has'been spending the Christmas holidays at Mt. Maunganui and staying at Hotel Oceanside, left this morning for Wellington.
