ESCAPED PRISONER CAUGHT.
(Per Press Association.) Wanoanui, April 18. Ellis, who escaped from gaol on Saturday, was captured by a policeman this morning. A letter was sent in the north train in case prisoner might get in at one of the stations, and when the train was slowly ascending Brunswick hill Ellis was seen to board it and wr.s duly arrested.
