The Treasury return for the financial year to date shows that the total revenue leceived amounts to £123,786,000, compared with £139,383,000 for the corresponding period last year, leaving £39,00-i,OOO to be collected in a fortnight, if Mr Lloyd George's estimate is to be reached.
The Chancellor of the Exchequer, who is suffering from neuritis, is resting for a week.
