The surrounding buildings were severely damaged. The building in which the fire originated was demolished. Small pox and cholera. SnfflEY, June 30.— Not only is the B mall pox prevalent in Colombo, but cholera has appeared both in the central and northern provinces there. The local Board of Health has requested Government to proclaim Colombo an infected port.
