LONDON, Jan. 26.

The Oape authorities have succeeded in arresting the murderer of Mr Beethell, chief of the Frontier Police, Bechuanaland. The American Government are pressing the claims of American subjects in Fiji upon the English Government. It is stated that the Government have received a letter disclosing the! plans of the Dynamitards, and indicating the members and their haunts. The London Press strongly appeal to America to- enact more rigorous measures against the Dynamitards. The perpetrators of the dynamite outrages are subjects of considerable execration in America. Great disgust is also expressed on the Continent at the outrage. The police are pursuing an important clue to the identity of the men engaged in the dynamite outrages at Westminster and Tower of London. Eight persons are now being closely watched. Jan. 27. Lady Normanby died on Monday night. "Her Ladyship had been suffering from bronchitis and affection of the heart. The Marquis of Normanby is also unwell. CAIRO, Jan. 26. Telegrams from Korti state that General Earle's column has reached the fourth cataract on the Nile. • Jan. 27. Latest telegrams from Korti report that General Wolseley has despatched a large convoy with supplies to Gakdul, on the road to Metemmeh.
