WELLINGTON
The Government have received a cable confirming what appeared this morning re San Francisco mail service, and that a motion was read subject to the Imperial Government agreeing to defray the costs of the mails from New York to San Francisco, on the Bame terms- as heretofore. The Auckland agents of the Pacific Mail Company have wired to the head office, asking if he will agree to the terms, and the reply is expected by Monday,
