Waitahuna Stock Sale.
The Ofeago Farmers' Co-operative Association report having held their monthly stock sale last Tuesday, when there were yarded 2400 Bheep and 52 head of cattle. There was a fair attendance of buyers, and a satisfactory sale resulted. Wo sold about 1500 sheep at the following prices: 4, 6, and 8-tooth wethers 36a 6d to 38s, 2 and 4-tooth wethers 28s 3d to 355, 2*tooth wethers to 31s 9d, 4, 6, and 8-tooth ewes 38s lOd to 41s 2d, 2-tooth ewes to 34s 9d, failing mouth ewes 22s 9d to 355, mixed sex hoggets 27s 9d to 29a 3d, ewe hoggets 28s 5d to 30s Id, fat ewes to 365. Cattle—Cows close to profit JGIO 17s 6d to £l2 15s, 2£ year-old steers to £9 14, yearlings £4 6s to £6, fat cattle £l2 7a 6d to £l6 17s 6d. Pigs 23s 6d to £2 15s.
