Eighty per cent, of the workmen at Krupps' Germania yard at Kiel have struck for a half holiday, and as a protest against the Prussian Franchise Bill. Many workers in other yards have joined them, and 10,000 men are out. Violent collisions took place with the police, and the latter were hard pressed, and took refuge in shops. Many windows were smashed. Ten demonstrators and several police were injured.
