PIRI PIRI ROADS.

The following statement in connection with the Piri Piri roads was submitted to the Comity Council yesterday by the overseer showing the requirements of the block. Tataramoa-road requires 21 chains metalling betweeii Napier Main-road and big culvert, opposite section 33, block 15, and 80 chains between northern boundary of section 12, block 10, and terminating about two chains past the southern boundary of section 2, block IX. "When metalling already let and this is completed it will give the whole of the settlers an outlet by metalled road. Toruroa-road requires 55 chains of metalling to complete between section 10, block IX. and southern boundary of section 4, block IX. Kotari-road requires 38 chains of metalling opposite sections 20 and 26, block ix. ; Piri Piri-road requires 64 chains of metalling which will complete the whole length of road. G. .Harris. County overseer. The council resolved to apply for the necessary authority for the expenditure of the grant in accordance with the overseer's recommendations.
