SECOND EDITION.

A. AND JL-sfiow. :s3i

1-11. e */j\f To-morrow dcr the auspices'vof District A. and P.. . tA.ssocjMjpfi will be held on the given a line day the event should be one of surprising interest. The entries have been unexpectedly large, and from a stock breeder's point of view, the event should be one of; great educational value, and this feature is certain to increase year by year. Sheep, cattle, and horses are strong classes, and some keen competition is confidently expected in these sections of the Show. In the hunters' competitions this will certainly be the case, because some of the best known performers in this class of sport have entered, and jumping of a high class order will be the result. This feature of the show will provide one of the great attractions to the general t public, as nothing of the kind has ever been seen in Dannevirke before, while scarcely less interesting will be the driving competitions, Avhich will also be held in the oval. As additional entertainment to the patrons of the Show who may not be keenlyinterested in stock,. there will be a number of side shows, which will afford amusement to old and young. The grounds are now in beautiful order, and as "a day out" if nothing else the, event should prove one of great attraction, and a big attendance is assured. Judging will commence at 10 o'clock, aiid to facilitate this work being carried out, the class stewards are requested to be in attendance promptly at that hour. The Dannevirke Band Avill be in attendance, and will render a programme of bright and lively airs.
