JMessrs Williams and Kettle, Ltd., TepoTt having held very successful sales at Woodville and Danneyirke 'during the present week, at both places a total clearance of big yardings of both sheep and cattle being •effected. At Woodvillo on Monday every cattle pen was taken up, but the sheep did not roll up as expected, only three lines coming forward. Dairy heifers were in great demand, ' every lino being cleared at prices ~ above vendors' ideas. Quotations :. Ol<3 ewes in lamb 5s Id, f.in. "ewes in lamb 9s 9d, empty ewes 6s 3d, 3-year fculloeks £3 17s 6d, 3$ to 4-year fcullocks £5 10s, 2£-year heifers in calf 36s to £2 18s, fat cows £3 2s 6d to £4"125, cows and calves £2 11s 6d, dairy cows £4 ss, 18-month empty 'Jieifers 31s. At Danneyirke yesterday we had a good yarding of both sheep and cattle; both selling well. There was a noticeable rise in all fat stuff, dairy cattle a,nd other sorts selling at pre--vipus prices. Quotations : Fat wethers 13s 4d, 2-tooth to f.ni. ewes in lamb 11s 6d to 11s 7d, 2-tooth welhers (small) 9s 7d, cull ewes in lamb 7s, fat bullocks £o os, £5 10s, £5 11s, fat cows £4, fat heifers £3 6s, fat and forward cows £3 ( ls, empty 1 cows 21s to £3 12s 6d, heifers in : calf £3. . 1
