HAWKE'S BAY FARMERS.
The Hawke's Bay Farmers report: We had a fair yarding of stock at our fortnightly sale yesterday. In cattle our entry was principally dairy stock coming to profit, for^. which, a keen demand existed and we had no difficulty in selling all lines offered. All sheep changed hands. We quote : Lambs 6s 3d to 6s 6d, fat heifers £4 5s to £4 6s, springing heifers £3 15s to £5 os, late heifers £2 2s, small heifers (springing) ' £2 16s to £3 11s, store oo\v*-«nd heifers £2 10s to £2 M^r"clairy cows (springing) £4 los, . 18-month steers £2 10s to £2 13s, yearling steers 28s, wcaners 18s.
