THE DAY-M'LACHLAN RACE.
[Press Association.] NAPIER, June 11. In reply to Day's conditions for a race, McLachlan states he will only run 100, 150, aud 250 yards, eondi- : tionally that each runs the full distance of 250 yds in tapes, otherwise he will not make a match. McLachlan Avill run the above distance anywhere, and will only accept the distances proposed by Day on tlio Na- ' pier track within tapes.
