DOCTOR FOR WAIHEKE
A FAVOURABLE REPORT Parliamentary Reporter. WELLINGTON, this day. A petition by Mr. A. Begg apd 520 others of Waiheke Island to the House of Representatives asking for a doctor to be established on the island, has been referred to the Government for favourable consideration. The petition was dealt with by the Public Health Committee, whose chairman, Mr. Anderton (Govt., Eden), presented the committee's report. in the House to-day.
