MAJOR D. J. ASHLEY, who has been mentioned in dispatches for the second time, is the son of Mrs. A. M. Ashley, of Kohimarama. Major Ashley ■won his first "mention" in the early stages of the Italian campaign. He went overseas with the Seventh Reinforcements after receiving a commission in 1940.
