NEW MANPOWER POLICY?

announcement shortly TAURANGA, Friday. The possibility that the War Cabinet will announce a new policy within the next few weeks was mentioned by Mr. E. Edwards, chairman of the No. 2 District Armed Forces Appeal Board, in Tauranga to-day. _ Mr. Edwards said that since sitting here earlier in the week further information had been received, and in view of the coming pronouncement of the War Cabinet the calhngup of reservists might be delayed. He therefore advised those reservistswhose appeals were dismissed not to make arrangements to leave their employment immediately, but to hold themselves available. Over 60 appeals practically all involving farm workers, were reviewed by the board here.
