FOR PILLAGING
LABOURER GAOLED WELLINGTON INCIDENT P.A. WELLINGTON, this day. Norman Alan Miller, wharf labourer, aged 35, found by a Customs searcher in possession of 20 drills valued at £6 10/, the property of the Federal Steam Navigation Company, and whose weekly wage was stated to be £12 3/, was sent to gaol for two months by Mr. Stout, S.M. The magistrate said there was too much cargo pillaging going on.
