GALA AT DUNEDIN P.A. DUNEDIN, this day. The New Zealand surf championships commenced this morning at St. Clair Beach in warm weather. Clubs from Auckland, . Taranaki, Wellington, Canterbury and Otago are represented by 158 competitors. Most of to-day's events were heats, of which the finals will be decided to-mororw.
