TIMBER FOR AUCKLAND
An assurance that Auckland would receive its rightful share of building timbers in accordance with the authorised building programme has been received by the Mayor, Mr. AHum, from the Timber Controller, Mr. A. R. Entrican. Mills' serving the Auckland zone had been requested to concentrate on extraquantities for Auckland after actual quota allocations had been satisfied, said Mr. Entrican, It was safe to say that Auckland would receive substantially more than the stated minimum quantity o? 2,000,000 feet a month.
