DRIVING LIGHTS
. _ May I correct "Middle-aged Motor- . ist on a few points. Evidently he , has been driving around in a haze for the past 13 years. He states ; that bus drivers were not affected, and continued to run with bright ; headlights; in other words, we were not covered by any restrictions. This , is totally incorrect. We bus drivers : as well as private motorists had to ' drive according to headlight restrictions, and still are to-day. Let 'Middle-aged Motorist" set behind the wheel of a bus for eight hours ; on a night shift, and he wcukl soon find that out. Also he goes on to .' say that with a few exceptions we ' are all very fit young men with perfect eyesight. The fact is that ; 90 per cent of the bus drivers to-day ■ are unfit for military service, graded two, three and four. ANOTHER BUS DRIVER.
