HAMILTON SCHOOLS
(0.C.) HAMILTON, Sunday. A resolution asking the Education Department if it intended to proceed with its original secondary educational scheme for Hamilton was passed by the Hamilton High School Board of Governors. The chairman, Mr. H. M. Hammond, contended that if there was to be a variation of the original scheme the interested parties should be consulted and the whole position reviewed. Mr S. B. Sims said the position had changed in the last five years. The Technical School was not big enough for an intermediate school, as it was estimated that accommodation would have to be provided for 800 children. Mr. C. L. MacDiarmid said that if the original scheme had been abandoned it would be better for the board to concentrate on its own
